Firstly, this app could improve. The questions sometimes repeat, and error messages appear/it crashes (rarely). But! If you can get over those little things, this is the best app for language exchange I have ever come across. Ive been using it non stop. It is such good (albeit casual) practice. You learn a lot not only through asking questions, but also answering. The community seems very active. Remember the time differences though. This is especially great for Japanese and English learners as those seem very active in my opinion. Other languages I dont know about... TLDR: Overall, this is an amazing learning tool especially considering its free.

This is a really neat app! I love all the preset question formats. Also, its a great tool to communicate with many people from different cultures and countries! Its so helpful and actually a lot of fun!! The only downside is that the premium version is a little on the expensive side; however, the free version is still awesome. I definitely recommend it!

I wouldnt know about this app if it wasnt for Sharla in Japan. (ू•ᴗ•ू❁) The app is great and the idea is great. I love it. Its fun. There is no way if a commenter is actually fluent in a language they claim. But thankfully there are other to keep everyone in check.

Ok so if youre looking to practice whatever language youre studying, you came to the right place. You get to ask questions, talk and send voice notes to a large group of people from all over the world ready to help. The community is honestly the nicest group of people youll ever come across and everyone is always eager to help each other. I give it a 4 stars only because the app seems to have a few bugs which I hope they fix. Sometimes you can get error messages if a lot of people are using the app at the same time. It doesnt happen everyday, but when it happens it takes a while to get back normal. Anyways, other than that, great app.

using the app is easy and everyone is so helpful and nice! one criticism is that the "Quick" animation should be taken out, it is unnecessary and as Im one of those people so answer questions in rapid succession, its quite annoying to sit through having that pop up every time I answer. another is that there should be a messaging system of some sort so that people can communicate between one another to help each other develop their language skills. other than that, it is a great app to use if you want help learning a language with native speakers and people who are also learning that language! :)

This app is a great way to learn new phases, words, and slang. The interface is also visually appealing.

This app is really great for anyone who is learning a language! It has all of the essential questions that you need. You also get your help really fast so you dont have to wait so long. I think you should download this app if you are new to your language and you would like help from a native speaker. :)

Its so cool to be able to learn a new language with the help of native speakers. I have come a long way with learning 5 new languages! I hope that they will have a better translation system though.

I downloaded this app after watching Sharla in Japans review on it and its awesome! I havent spent any time asking my own questions, but I have been learning a lot by answering other peoples questions! Interacting with native speakers is the best way to learn a language in my opinion, and this app lets you do that even if you cant surround yourself with native speakers in real life. And its free, so I cant complain. I hope this app gets more popular because it deserves it. Ive had it for a short time and I already feel like Im a bit better at Japanese. :-)

I got tired real quick of a lot of language apps. Because it was so much one on one talking to "practice" which often led to just a lot of propositions of a sexual sort rather than actual language learning. And I hated that. But this app is so nice! I like that its a feed so everything stays relevant to the languages people are learning, practicing, and needing help with! By far my favorite language app that I find actually useful. I am a Japanese learner that lives in Japan though and I find the Japanese/English seem to be the most active. So its especially lucky/good for me. Id really like to try premium but the down side is that it is rather expensive...

This is actually an awesome app! I get responses so quickly by natives or experts! This is by far one of the best ways to learn different languages.

I have only been using this app for a couple of days, but it is really useful! Questions are setup so that they are really simple to ask and to answer. I have used many language learning apps, but I would say that this one is by far the most useful! :)

Learning the ins and outs of any language by asking those who speak it daily is an amazing idea. Kudos to the people who made this app!

I wish this had more reviews to express how great this app it! I get quick answers to my questions and so far everyones been really nice and formal. Great app 10-10 would recommend

This app is fantastic for any learner of a language. Have you ever wondered "How do I say this in this language" or "Is this right" or "Am I pronouncing this right", and wished you had a native speaker with you to answer? Thats exactly what this app does for you. The responses are extremely quick, as well. I usually get a few responses within minutes of posting. This app can be one of the many tools you use in studying your language. I highly recommend it

Stupid update or what?! I used to love this app but frome now and then The ll delete it for good! On my ipad it appears as a tiny window in the middle of the display just in the size of an iphone whyyyyyy?
